Description
Zoroastrians in Iran have had a long history, being the oldest religious community of that nation to survive to the present-day. Prophet Zoroaster and his first followers are believed to have been the proto-Indo-Iranians that lived between the Stone Age and Bronze Age (est. 1400-1200BC). The proto-Indo-Iranians (Aryans) were later divided in to two distinct branches of Iranian and Indians; the Iranian branch migrated to Iran as early as 2000 BC.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN - YAZD:
Transfer to hotel. After breakfast, flying to Yazd. Transfer to hotel. Half day city tour including visit fire Temple (Atashkadeh). Overnight in hotel.
Day 2, YAZD - CHAK CHAK:
Driving towards Chak Chak via El Abad village, free time for praying and sightseeing in Chak Chak. Optional camping around Chak Chak.
Day 3, CHAK CHAK:
Drive to Chak Chak, free time for performing rituals. Optional camping around Chak Chak.
Day 4, CHAK CHAK:
Drive to Chak Chak, free time for performing rituals. Optional camping around Chak Chak.
Day 5, CHAK CHAK:
Drive to Chak Chak, free time for performing rituals. Optional camping around Chak Chak.
Day 6, YAZD - SHIRAZ:
Drive to Shiraz, en route visit Pasargadae, and Naghshe-e-Rostam and fire Temple. Overnight in Apadana Persepolis hotel (beside Persepolis).
Day 7, Shiraz - PERSEPOLIS:
Visit Persepolis (Takht-e-Jamshid), Ghasr-e-Aboo Nasr (Sassanid periods), Hafez and Saadi Mausoleums (two of the great Persian poets). Overnight in hotel.
Day 8, SHIRAZ - BISHABUR:
Drive to Bishaboor (Sassanid periods) and visit Bishaboor with its fantastic architecture. After lunch, drive back to Shiraz. Overnight in hotel.
Day 9, SHIRAZ - FIRUZABAD:
Drive to Firooz Abad to visit fire temple ( Pomp-e-Atashkadeh ), Castle of daughter ( Ghal-e-dokhtar) and Ardeshir Castle (Ghal-e-Ardeshir). Drive back to Shiraz. In the evening flying to Isfahan and transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 10, ISFAHAN - NAJAFABAD - TEHRAN:
Drive to Najaf Abad road in west of Isfahan to visit Atashgah. After lunch, return to Isfahan. In the evening, flying to Tehran. Transfer to hotel.
Day 11, Tehran:
Transfer to the airport. |
