Description
The Culture of Iran is a mix of ancient pre-Islamic culture and Islamic culture. Iranian culture probably originated in Central Asia and the Andronovo culture is strongly suggested as the predecessor of Iranian culture ca. 2000 BC. Iranian culture has long been a predominant culture of the Middle East and Central Asia, with Persian considered the language of intellectuals during much of the 2nd millennium, and the language of religion and the populace before that.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN,
Arrival at Tehran airport. Transfer to hotel and rest. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 2, TEHRAN - SHIRAZ:
Visit Archaeological and Islamic Art Museums, the finest museum in Iran where you'll view a collection of ancient Persian civilization. In evening, transfer to airport and fly to Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 3, SHIRAZ - PESREPOLIS - NECROPOLE:
Visit Quran Gate and continue to Persepolis which was the ceremonial capital of Persia in 500 BC, The palaces were built by hands of free Artists and workers not slaves. They served as Temple palaces for New Year ceremonies. Go to Necropole which was the Achaemenian kings' necropolis, cut out of a mountain where Darius the Great rests in his tomb upon a cliff and watches us after 7000 years of Iranian history. Trek to Zagros mountain range. Overnight in camp.
Day 4, ZAGROS:
Trek to beautiful Zagros foothills. Overnight in camp.
Day 5, SHIRAZ:
Trekking in the morning. Drive back to Shiraz and in the evening free at Leisure. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 6, SHIRAZ:
Visit Eram and Narenjestan gardens, Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Khan Theological School, Hafez and Sadi Mausoleums, Vakil complex and the most astonishing mirror decoration of Aliebnehamze Holy Shrine. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 7, TEHRAN:
Transfer to Tehran Intl. airport for your return flight. |
