Description
The Culture of Iran is a mix of ancient pre-Islamic culture and Islamic culture. Iranian culture probably originated in Central Asia and the Andronovo culture is strongly suggested as the predecessor of Iranian culture ca. 2000 BC. Iranian culture has long been a predominant culture of the Middle East and Central Asia, with Persian considered the language of intellectuals during much of the 2nd millennium, and the language of religion and the populace before that.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN:
Arrive in Tehran. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 2, TEHRAN:
Full day city tour including Archaeological and Islamic Art Museums. Archaeological Museum, which is the finest museum in Iran, exhibits cover all periods and artifacts from the major sites in the country. PM, visit Museum of Saad Aba Palaces. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 3, TEHRAN - KERMAN:
Morning, transfer to airport and fly to Kerman. PM, half day city tour including a visit to The Ganj-Ali-Khan complex including Bath and Bazaar as well as visit of Jame Mosque Overnight in Kerman.
Day 4, - KERMAN - BAM - MAHAN - KERMAN:
Full day Excursion to visit a terrific citadel in Bam as well as the magnificent Mausoleum of Shah Nematollah-e-Valli and the lovely Shahzadeh Garden in Mahan. Overnight in Kerman.
Day 5, KERMAN - YAZD:
Drive toward Yazd from Kerman. PM, half day city tour including historical monuments with unique architecture for this tropical city with high wind towers (badgirs), the great and beautiful Jame Mosque and Mir Chakmaq Mosques, the Fire temple and the Dowlat Abad Garden. Overnight in Yazd.
Day 6, YAZD - ABARGU - SHIRAZ:
Full day drive to Shiraz via Abarghu city. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 7, - SHIRAZ:
Full day city tour taking in Eram and Narenjestan Gardens, Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Khan Theological School, Quran Gate and Hafez (or Saadi) Tomb and Vakil Bazaar. At night visit the most astonishing inlaid mirror decorating in Shah-Cheragh Holy Shrine. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 8, SHIRAZ - PERSEPOLIS:
After breakfast, Excursion to Persepolis and Naghsh-e-Rostam. Drive back to Shiraz, PM Free at leisure, Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 9, SHIRAZ:
City tour of Shiraz. In the afternoon fly to Isfahan. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 10, Isfahan:
Half day city tour including Imam Square, a jewel of Persian architecture which includes the Alighapou Palace, Imam and Sheikh Lutfullah Mosques, handicraft factories and Isfahan bazaar with its traditional arcades. In the evening we visit the most beautiful and famous Isfahan bridges where we can have some refreshment in a traditional teahouse along the Zayendeb Rud River. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 11, ISFAHAN:
Half day city tour including Jame Mosque, Vank Church and Shaking Minarets. PM free at leisure. Overnight in Isfahan.
Day 12, ISFAHAN - TEHRAN:
Drive back to Tehran; En route visit the beautiful city of Natanz with its famous Jame Mosque as well as Kashan where we will visit the Fin Garden. Then drive to Tehran via Qom, In Qom pass by the holy Shrine. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 13, TEHRAN:
Half day city tour including a visit to Carpet and Reza Abbassi Museums and if possible the Jewelry Museum. In the evening, we end the tour by spending in a nice traditional restaurant as a goodbye party, Overnight in Tehran.
Day 14, TEHRAN:
Transfer to Tehran Airport for your return flight. |
