Description
Ancient Iranians built Qanats and Yakhchal to provide and keep water. The first windmill appeared in Iran in the 9th century. Iranians contributed significantly to the current understanding of astronomy, natural science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī is widely hailed as the father of algebra.

Day 1, TEHRAN:
Meet and greeting in Tehran Airport. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 2, TEHRAN:
Full day city tour of Tehran including Archaeological and Islamic museums. PM. Visiting Carpet and Reza Abbasi Museums. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 3, TEHRAN - ANZALI:
Early drive to Anzali, immediate excursion to Masouleh beautiful village. PM. Visiting Anzali Lagoon. Overnight in Anzali.
Day 4, ANZALI - TABRIZ:
Drive to Tabriz. PM. Visit to Tabriz bazaar and Museum and Kaboud Mosque, also Elgoli Park. Overnight in Tabriz.
Day 5, TABRIZ:
Full day excursion to Thaddeus Church. Overnight in Tabriz.
Day 6, TABRIZ - TABAK:
Drive to Takab, en route visiting Maragheh old observatory and tomb towers. Overnight in Takab.
Day 7, TABAK - HAMADAM:
Morning excursion to Takhte-Soleiman. PM. Continue to Hamadan. Overnight in Hamadan.
Day 8, HAMADAN:
Morning excursion to Ali Sadr underground water cave. Back to Hamadan. Visiting Esther and Mordecai (Jews) Tomb, Gonbad-e-Alavian and Ganjnameh Achaemenians inscriptions. Overnight in Hamadan.
Day 9, HAMADAN - KERMANSHAH - TEHRAN:
Early drive to Kermanshah. On the way visiting Sasanid Anahita Temple in Kangavar. Continue to Kermanshah, en route, visiting Dariuss Bas Relieves in Bisotoun. PM. visiting Tagh-e-Bostan Sasanid rock carvings. Evening fly to Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 10, TEHRAN - SHIRAZ:
In the morning, visiting Glassware and Ceramic Museums, if possible visiting Jewelry Museum. Evening flight to Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 11, SHIRAZ:
Morning excursion to Persepolis and Necropolis. PM. Shiraz city tour including Eram and Narenjestan Gardens, Hafez and Saadi Tombs, Khan Theological School. Evening visit to dazzling Holy Shrine of Shah-e-Cheragh. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 12, SHIRAZ - YAZD:
Early morning drive to Yazd, en route visiting Pasargadae and Abarqoo Ice Structure and 5000 year old Cypress tree. Continue to Yazd. Overnight in Yazd.
Day 13, YAZD:
Full day City tour of Yazd. Visit Jam`e and Amir chakhmaq Mosques, Zoroastrian Fire Temple, Towers of Silence, Old City walls and Bazaar. Overnight in Yazd.
Day 14, YAZD - ISFAHAN:
Drive to Naien, en route visiting Caravanserais, Cloak and Carpet weaving workshops in Mohammadieh. If possible, visiting Jam`e Mosque and Kavir Museum of Naien. PM. Continue to Esfahan. Overnight in Esfahan.
Day 15, ISFAHAN:
AM. Visiting Imam Square, Imam and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosques, Alighapu Palace and also Qeisarieh Bazaar. PM. Old bridges over Zayandehroud River: Shahrestan, Khaju and 33 arch bridges. Overnight in Esfahan.
Day 16, ISFAHAN:
AM. Visiting Jam`e Mosque, Chehelsotoun (40 column) Palace and Vank Armenian Cathedral. PM. Free time for shopping. Fly to Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 17, TEHRAN:
