Description
Ancient Iranians built Qanats and Yakhchal to provide and keep water. The first windmill appeared in Iran in the 9th century. Iranians contributed significantly to the current understanding of astronomy, natural science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī is widely hailed as the father of algebra.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN:
Arrival in Tehran's International Airport. Meet with Guide. Transfer to hotel. visit National Museum, Golestan Palace Complex and Treasury of National Jewels. At the end of the excursion, transfer to hotel.
Day 2, TEHRAN:
Visit Saad Abad Palace Complex and Carpet Museum. A city tour to learn about life in Tehran. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 3, ABYANEH - KASHAN:
Drive to Abyaneh. En route, visit Kashan to see Fin Garden and Ameries House. A walking tour of Abyaneh. Transfer to hotel.
Day 4, NATANZ - NAEIN - MEYBOD - YAZD:
Drive to Yazd. En route, visit Natanz to see Ebady ceramic workshop. Then, proceed to Nain to visit Museum of Anthropology. The final stop at Meybod to visit Narin Fortress, Meybod caravansary, Meybod icehouse, A pigeon tower and A mailing house (Chapar Khaneh). Transfer to hotel.
Day 5, YAZD:
In Yazd, visit Towers of Silence, Varahram Fire Temple, Water Museum, Mir Chaqmaq Tekiyeh, Yazd Friday Mosque, Fahadan ancient quarter, Bazaar of Yazd and City Walls of Yazd. Transfer to hotel.
Day 6, KERMAN:
Drive to Kerman. Walk in the bazaar to visit Ganjali Khan Complex. Transfer to hotel.
Day 7, MAHAN - KERMAN:
Drive to Rayen to visit Citadel of Rayen. Drive back toward Kerman. En route, stop at Mahan to visit Shahzadeh garden and Shah Nematollah-e-Valy mausoleum. Transfer to hotel.
Day 8, NEYRIZ - SARVESTAN - SHIRAZ:
Drive to Shiraz. En route, in addition to 2 salt lakes (Neyriz & Maharloo). At Neyriz visit Neyriz Friday mosque. Then, proceed toward Shiraz and stop before Sarvestan to visit A Sassanian Hunting Resort. Transfer to hotel.
Day 9, SHIRAZ:
In Shiraz, visit Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Narenjestan garden, Tomb of Sa'di, Bazaar of Shirazand Seyyed Aladin Shrine. Transfer to hotel.
Day 10, SHIRAZ:
Drive outside Shiraz to visit Persepolis and Naqsh-e-Rostam. Back to Shiraz to visit Afif Abad Garden, Tombs of Hafez and Gate of Quran. Transfer to hotel.
Day 11, SHIRAZ - ISFAHAN:
Drive to Esfehan. en route, at Pasargadae, visit Tomb of Cyrus the Great. Then, proceed toward Esfehan and stop at Izadkhast to visit A Safavid Caravansary and Remnants of Izadkhast Village. Inside Esfehan, visit Si-o-Se Pol (Allahverdikhan) Bridge and Khajoo Bridge. Transfer to hotel.
Day 12, ISFAHAN:
Inside Esfehan, visit Chehelsotun Palace, Meidan-e-Emam (Naqsh-e-Jahan Square), Emam Khomeini Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Aliqapoo Palace and Qeysariyeh Bazaar. Transfer to hotel.
Day 13, ISFAHAN:
Visit Vank Cathedral, Jolfa Armenian quarter, Sassanina Fire Temple, Arts Bazaar and Walking alongside the river. Transfer to hotel.
Day 14, QOM:
Drive to Tehran via Qom. At Qom visit Masumeh's Shrine and a short excursion around Qom. Transfer to hotel.
Day 15, TEHRAN:
