Description
Ancient Iranians built Qanats and Yakhchal to provide and keep water. The first windmill appeared in Iran in the 9th century. Iranians contributed significantly to the current understanding of astronomy, natural science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī is widely hailed as the father of algebra.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN:
Arrive in Tehran Airport. After greeting process transfer to hotel and rest. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 2, TEHRAN:
City tour and visit the Archaeological and Islamic Art Museums. Archaeological Museum which is the finest museum in Iran, exhibits all periods and artifacts from the major sites in the country. P.M. visit the Carpet and Reza Abbasi Museums. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 3, TEHRAN - ANZALI:
Drive to Anzali, in the afternoon excursion to Masouleh one of the most beautiful villages in Iran. Overnight in Anzali.
Day 4, ANZALI - ARDEBIL:
Drive to Ardabil, in the afternoon visit of Sheikh Safi-od-Din Ardabili Mausoleum in Ardabil. Overnight in Ardabil.
Day 5, ARDEBIL - TABRIZ:
Drive to Tabriz, in the afternoon city tour in Tabriz including a visit to Bazaar, Elgoli Park and Kaboud Mosque. Overnight in Tabriz.
Day 6, TABRIZ:
Full day excursion to an Armenian Church called Thaddeus, back to Tabriz. Overnight in Tabriz.
Day 7, TABRIZ - TABAK:
Drive to Takab via Maragheh and visit one of the oldest observatory as well as several Tomb Towers. Drive back to Takab. Overnight in Takab.
Day 8, TABAK - HAMEDAN:
In the morning excursion to Takhte-Soleiman and then drive back to Takab. After lunch, drive to Hamadan. Overnight in Hamadan.
Day 9, HAMEDAN:
Half day city tour including a visit to Esther and Mordecay Mausoleum, Gonbad-e-Alavian and Ganjnameh. P.M. a visit to Ali Sadr Cave. Overnight in Hamadan.
Day 10, HAMEDAN - KERMANSHAH:
Drive to Kermanshah, En Route, visit the Anahita Temple Complex in Kangavar, toward Bisotoun. In Bisotoun, visit the Darius Bas-Relief. Arrive in Kermanshah. Overnight in Kermanshah.
Day 11, KERMANSHAH - TEHRAN:
Excursion to Tagh-e-Bostan where we will see some ruins from Sassanid Era and Sassanid Bas-reliefs. Back to Kermanshah and visit of bazaar. In the afternoon fly to Tehran. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 12, TEHRAN - SHIRAZ:
Visit the Abgineh and Ceramic Museum, Nature Historical Museum if possible Jewelry Museum. P.M. free at leisure and in the evening fly to Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 13, SHIRAZ:
Full day excursion to Firozabad and visit the beautiful Sassanid Palaces. Drive back to Shiraz. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 14, SHIRAZ:
After breakfast, Excursion to Persepolis and Naghsh-e-Rostam. Drive back to Shiraz. P.M. half day features a city tour taking in Eram and Narenjestan Gardens, Nasir-ol-Molk Mosque, Khan Theological School and Hafez Tomb. At night visit the most astonishing inlaid mirror decorating in Shah-Cheragh holy Shrine. Overnight in Shiraz.
Day 15, SHIRAZ - ISFAHAN:
Early morning, drive to Esfahan, En Route, visit Pasargadae and Izadkhast Caravansary. Arrive in Esfahan. Overnight in Esfahan.
Day 16, ISFAHAN:
A.M. free at leisure and P.M. city tour including Imam Square, a jewel of Persian architecture which includes the Alighapu Palace, Imam and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosques, handicraft factories and Esfahan bazaar with its traditional arcades. Overnight in Esfahan.
Day 17, ISFAHAN:
Half day city tour of Jam`e Mosque, Vank Church and Shaking Minarets. In the afternoon visit of the ancient bridges of Esfahan as well as shopping in bazaar. Overnight in Esfahan.
Day 18, ISFAHAN - ABYANEH - TEHRAN:
Drive back to Tehran, En route visit the beautiful city of Natanz with its famous Jam`e Mosque and also the beautiful and ancient village, Abyaneh. Then drive to Tehran via Qom, In Qom pass by the holy Shrine. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 19, TEHRAN:
Early morning, drive to Rey City as well as Varamin where visit Jam`e Mosque and Sassanid Fire Temple. Drive back to Tehran. P.M. free at leisure, in the evening, end the tour by spending in a nice traditional restaurant as a goodbye party. Overnight in Tehran.
Day 20, TEHRAN:
