Description
Ancient Iranians built Qanats and Yakhchal to provide and keep water. The first windmill appeared in Iran in the 9th century. Iranians contributed significantly to the current understanding of astronomy, natural science, medicine, mathematics, and philosophy. Muhammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī is widely hailed as the father of algebra.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN:
Arrival in Tehran's International Airport. Meet with Guide. Transfer to hotel. visit National Museum, Golestan Palace Complex and Treasury of National Jewels. At the end of the excursion, transfer to hotel.
Day 2, TEHRAN - SHIRAZ:
Visit Saad Abad Palace Complex and Carpet Museum. Transfer to airport to fly to Shiraz. Transfer to hotel.
DAY 3, SHIRAZ:
Drive outside Shiraz to visit Persepolis and caravansaryNaqsh-e-Rostam. Back to Shiraz to visit Bazaar of Shiraz, Tomb of Hafez, Tomb of Sa'di and Gate of quran. Transfer to hotel.
Day 4, SHIRAZ - ISFAHAN:
Drive to Esfehan en route, at Pasargadae and visit Tomb of Cyrus the Great. Then, proceed toward Esfehan and stop at Izadkhast to visit A Safavid caravansary and Remnants of Izadkhast Village.
Inside Esfehan, visit Si-o-Se Pol (Allahverdikhan) Bridge and Khajoo Bridge. Transfer to hotel.
Day 5, ISFAHAN:
Visit Chehelsotun Palace, Meidan-e-Emam (Naqsh-e-Jahan Square), Emam Khomeini Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Aliqapoo Palace and Qeysariyeh Bazaar. Transfer to hotel.
Day 6, ISFAHAN - NATANZ - ABYANEH:
Visit Vank Cathedral and Jolfa Armenian quarter. Drive to Abyaneh. En route, at Natanz visit Ebady Ceramic Workshop. At Abyaneh visit ancient village and a walking tour of Abyaneh. Transfer to hotel.
Day 7, KASHAN - TEHRAN:
Drive to Tehran via Kashan. In Kashan visit Fin Garden and Ameries House. Proceed to Tehran. Transfer to hotel and pack up for departure.
Day 8, TEHRAN:
Transfer to Tehran International Airport. Fly back home. |
