Description
After observing the snow filled Alborz range in Iran, they brought their skis from Europe and spent the winters touring and skiing. Each trick used on the slopes would be to the delight and amazement of the spectators, composed mostly of the rustic community. This group usually preferred the Dizin, Firooz Kooh, Shemshak, Haji Abad (25 km North West of Tehran), Sepidan and Pooladkaf districts.
Vacation tour itinerary
Day 1, TEHRAN:
Arrival In Tehran airport.
Day 2, RUDBARAK:
Drive to Roodbarak.
Day 3, SARCHAL:
Climb up to Sarchal Shelter or in the other valley with overnight in tents.
Day 4, KHORAMDASHT:
Transfer to Khorramdasht. Beginning ski to Hesarchal bowl via Tang-e Galo which is surrounded with more than 4000 meters peak.
Day 5, HESARCHAL:
Day climb and ski, full day skiing.
Day 6, HESARCHAL:
Climb and ski and go down to Roodbarak.
Day 7, REINEH:
Drive to the Caspian sea and drive up to Reineh.
Day 8, BIWAK:
Climb up to the Bagrahe Sevvom Biwak.
Day 9, GOOSFAND SARA:
Transfer to Goosfandsara in the south area of Damavand. Commence skiing toward Bargah refuge (~4200 meters).
Day 10, DAMAVAND:
Climb to the Summit of Demavend and skiing.
Day 11, REINEH:
Ascent to up and skiing to Goosfandsara. Transfer to Riyneh spa.
Day 12, TEHRAN:
